Inbound Calls
Townley can ensure that calls into your business are generated, controlled and monitored through a wide range of inbound call services. We can assist you in ensuring that those calls into your company are handled as efficiently as possible by controlling direction and response, reducing lost calls and increasing management control.
There are three main ways that this can be achieved:
- Freephone (0800/0808) and local (0845) rate number translation services (NTS).
- National (0870/0871) and premium (090x) rate number translation services (NTS).
- Call control and management services.
Number translation services are the means by which a company can be allocated a non-geographic number such as an 0800 line for a response to an advertising campaign.
Townley allocates the number to a geographic number (existing or new) and the standard routing service translates this directly.
The big advantage of NTS is that the calls made using this service can be controlled. We can direct the call to the office of your choice. We can divert a call to another number if the main line is busy.
Townley can also divert numbers to a local branch based on the geographical location that the call is initiated from. NTS offers great flexibility and control and all at no extra cost.
